This position will process account receivables for assigned insurance carriers and patient accounts in accordance with departmental procedures. Duties include but not limited to: responds to patient and insurance carriers inquiries; follows up with insurance companies; conducts research for unpaid claims; processes claim corrections; and reviews past due accounts; other duties as assigned.

Position requires HS diploma/equivalent. At least 2 years previous experience working in medical accounts receivables required, preferably in a medical setting. Must have working knowledge of accounts receivables, practice management system/EHR system(s), CPT and ICD-10 coding.
