Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Pavilion Pediatrics

Role: The role of the primary care pediatric nurse practitioner at Pavilion Pediatrics is to provide care to children from birth through young-adulthood with an in-depth knowledge of and experience in pediatric primary care. Expertise in well child care as well as the prevention and management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions is needed. This care is provided to support the health of children within the context of their family, community, and environmental setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to patients across the practice for both wellness visits and in the acute setting for same day sick visits, triaging, diagnosing, and managing common pediatric presentations such as: viral upper respiratory tract infections, acute otitis media, bronchiolitis, asthma exacerbations, allergies and allergic reactions, UTis, viral exanthems, atopic dermatitis.
  • When operational, staffing walk-in sick visits from 7:30-8:30 AM, to manage same day illness needs.
  • Responding to phone call requests during the day for advice on the management of
  • illness, including directing next steps in treatment or management, behavioral concerns, and requests for prescription updates or renewals.

  • Reviewing laboratory results, communicating/evaluating these results with parents, managing next steps, documenting and sharing these with the primary care physician.
  • Sharing equally in call rotation (1:6) for weeknight and weekend off-hours calls, including some Saturday hours. Responsibilities include triaging illness concerns, referring to the emergency department as needed, and communication through the medical record with the primary care physician.
  • Obtaining nursery privileges where needed to share in the care of newborn patients in the hospital and office setting in the immediate post-natal period.
  • Participating in continuing educational opportunities and maintenance of certification

The department of Radiation Oncology is seeking an accounting & finance manager to perform and oversee accounting and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple staff and competing priorities. They will represent the department in financial matters to campus partners, review accounting procedures and make recommendations to increase effectiveness and accuracy. May oversee, direct or perform financial functions such as payroll, general ledger, accounts receivable or payable, contracts or other related financial functions; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from four-year college or university 
  • Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • CPA preferred
