Pratice Manager – Cardiology

Seeking an experience practice manager that will have oversight for 2 cardiology offices (Salisbury & Berlin). Will be responsible for overall overall operations of the offices.  Offices supports 14 providers.  Practice manager will work closely with the director of operations to ensure offices are meeting company quality and financial goals. Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a health care environment.  Cardiology office experience a plus.  Must have at least an associates degree but will except additional experience in lieu of a degree.

Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant under general supervision of the practice administrator and nurse manager, this employee performs those clinical activities necessary for the smooth flow of patients.  The assistant will perform a variety of duties to assist in the care and safety of the patients through the M Prepare patients for physicians, chemotherapy, nurse visits by taking vital signs, height, weight, and obtain medication list, assess the need for and perform orthostatic vital signs, enter data into Epic.

  • Assist patients to exam room and prepare them for exam/diagnostic procedures.
  • Obtain blood samples.  Process samples in Epic. Label all specimens and forward to appropriate laboratory. (Skills must be signed off by nurse manager.)
  • Converts peripheral IVs to heplocks and visa versa.

  • Initiates IV fluids for chemotherapy.
  • Assist with adverse drug reactions.
  • Keep exam rooms neat and organized.  Change table paper and prepare needed supplies between patients.  Responsible for changing linens in treatment room as needed.

IT/EHR Coordinator - Clinical Associates, P.A.

Clinical Associates, P.A., a private, multi-specialty medical practice is seeking an experienced IT/EHR Coordinator. Clinical Associates, founded in 1972, consists of over 50 providers who work out of three main office locations, offering exceptional internal medicine and specialty care. The major areas of responsibility include training and development, IT liaison and implementation, billing software maintenance, training and maintenance of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.  The IT/EHR Coordinator coordinates and initiates the physician office activities required for implementation and sustaining the EHR working directly with physicians, the Core Group and Super Users and staff to answer questions, set expectations, plan, implement products and services to meet the user’s and enterprise’s EHR needs.  Consults on process evaluation and workflow redesign efforts, coordinates EHR content customization and assures delivery of training to end-users.

Training Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong understanding of networked personal computers and client/server applications as relates to the EHR project.
  • Contribute input and support to all parties involved with the implementation and ongoing administration of the EHR system.
  • Assist with validation of system upgrades and the coordination of training and rollout to the enterprise
  • Work with NEXTGEN and outside vendors on the design and setup of the technical environment including hardware, software and networks.
  • Prepares and provides reports as needed for auditing and evaluating practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years training, human resources, staff development or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field preferred.  Will consider non-degreed candidates with significant relevant experience.
  • Experience with EHR, specifically Nextgen.
  • Presentation Skills
  • Must be available for early and late meetings.
